moving on, new yorkers, and a great summer.
This has definitely been a crazy week!
Monday consisted of getting unpacked from Spotlight in Mandan, settling back in, and constant phone calls over what took place that last weekend.
Tuesday was well…strange. Without even knowing it, it was my last dance classes.
Wednesday, still considering everything. At the same time though, taking my mind off of dance because I had try outs for cheerleading! :) I made JV Football and am hopefully going to be placed on the Varsity Girl’s Basketball squad as well.
Thursday, my mom & I gave Joshua a phone call that ended my dancing with Studio X. Actually…we left a voicemail. Which is yet to be returned. Next week I’m going in to pick up my clothes and things. It has been sad having to give up something that I’ve been doing for so long, but at the same time…I stopped enjoying it a long time ago. I’m really looking forward to this summer (I’m getting a full time job AND my first car!) as well as the upcoming school year. Cheerleading should be a fun time and hopefully much less sressful. I am glad to be able to even have time to fully live out the last of my high school years. I also plan to attend as many Studio X performances as I can to be there for all the girls. They are definitely my second family and I love them all! I’m going to truly miss them…
TODAY! I am so excited for tonight! I finally get to see family from out of town. Some I haven’t seen in a year or two, and some not at all! Matt, Alma & Santi are here from New York City and Eli and his parents are here from San Diego! I haven’t seen Matt since the last family wedding almost exactly a year ago. With Alma it has been two whole years! Santi is around a year old, so tonight will be the first time I ever get to see that little cutie, and I can hardly wait! Same goes with Eli! It is sure to be a crazy but fun filled Schilken/Lach family wedding. As always.
Tomorrow? Going in to see if I can my app for Michael’s! I would make a great hostess…wouldn’t I?
